Cynthia Koshko (Sulley)Cynthia Jayne Sulley passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, at the hospital surrounded by family and friends. Cynthia experienced complications following surgery for pancreatic cancer that she bravely battled for six months, always with a smile. She was born Sept. 1, 1946. She is preceded in death by husband, John, and mother, Frances Koshko. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Angela Behrend, Cathy Messinger (Lee), John Sulley, Sherry Kile (Jeremy), and granddaughter, Abigail Lynn Messinger. Also her father, Frank Koshko, mother-in- law, Gwen Sulley, and sisters, Karen Somers (Wayne), Vicky Reed (Don), sister-in-law, Nancy Goode, and brother- in-law, Bill Sulley (Kathie), and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Johnson County Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kan. A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the same location. Sherry Pettit (Gibson)

I've known Cynthia from Kindergarten.  We always had the same teachers at Center Elementary.  I remember her being very intelligent.
